[ULUBUDA] Summer greetings* voluntary work opportunities *tea, zen and music festival (4th-6th July)

Dear friends,
 
I hope you are all well and are delighting in the summer sunshine:) As you may be aware, our programme for this year is coming to an end and on behalf of ULUBUDA, I would like to send you our deepest thanks for attending our events; we hope you've enjoyed them as much as we have! As i have said on several occasions, you really do form the heart of what we do, so please do keep on forwarding me any comments/suggestions you may have as to how we can better ourselves:) Also, if you've taken an interest in what we do and wish to help out, then please feel free to drop me an email at any time,  i always look forward in hearing from you :). Finally, to add to our summer festivities, there are two things i want to draw your attention on :

This is a really fantastic secular programme stemmed from compassion and is designed to provide respite for carers who are looking after an ill family or friend. The programme itself is very flexible and if you are free over the summer period (or in fact any time as this is a continuous programme) please do go along and check it out. I have been on several occasions and have found it a very worthwhile, meaningful and fun thing to do! I should also mention, they provide you with a delicious 2 course vegetarian meal and introductory Tai Chi training. Additionally, all travel expenses are reimbursed. So if you are interested in putting that fantastic smile of yours to use; practice some compassion-one the most important and (in my view joyous) percept in Buddhism and to make someone's day, then please contact myself (ruo4u at hotmail.com) and or them directly at (repayingthekindness at yahoo.co.uk )

This summer event will be held either at Limkokwing University (London) [1106, Piccadilly, London W1J 7NL] or at London Foguan Shan [84 Margaret Street, London W1W 8TD UK] depending on the exact date of the event.
 Activities include: 'The Ch'an of Tea, Tea paintings, A day at the temple, traditional chinese instruments performance. 
 
 
I wish you all a really great summer- thank you for being such fantastic friends. We look forward in seeing you all at Fresher's Fayre or at our events commencing in October:)
