Hey all,
This is just a reminder about the talk by Ajahn Khemadhammo, OBE at Imperial College this Friday. Ajahn Khemadhammo is a disciple of Ajahn Chah and continues to practice within the Thai forest tradition in his forest monestary in Warwick. Ajahn Khemadhammo is also the spiritual director of Angulimala, the Buddhist prison chaplaincy. Ajahn will discuss the possibility of harmonious living in a modern society. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and there will be South East Asian food provided for free and also many free books available.
See below for further details and times. Here is a map of Imperial College:http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Imperial+College%2C+London%2C+United+Kingdom
For those who are still unsure about travelling to the venue, I will be able to meet people at 6pm outside ULU to then get a tube to South Kensington and then on to Imperial college.

Description of Event by Imperial college:
Our annual Buddhism Without Borders event is
back!
As the world grows smaller, people from every corner of the world
are being brought together in multicultural cosmopolitan cities. However, as
prejudice and discrimination still prevails in this day, people are often
divided by colour, creed, believes, etc. What does it take to coexist with each
other peacefully?
This year, we've invited Venerable Ajahn Khemadhammo to
give us a talk - "Living in Harmony". Besides the talk, we will be having a
Q&A session, as well as an exhibition and free distribution. There will be
refreshments.
Venerable Ajahn Khemadhammo is a teacher of Theravada
Buddhism. More about Venerable can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajahn_Khemadhammo
This is a
great opportunity to learn from a great teacher. Do come and invite your friends
too!
