[ULUBUDA] Meditation Monday 12th

Hey,
 
I hope you have all been having a good week, especially to the SOAS students who have been on holiday, sorry 'reading week':).
Below is just an update of next weeks activities and events and also some news of forthcoming talks.
 
Monday 12th November- Meditation with Ajahn Sangthong.

It has been great to see a big turn out for Ajahn's meditation sessions at ULU. If you have not come along yet and still wish to, please do, there is no systematic course just pop in when you can. There will be the usual format of walking meditation, sitting meditation, dharma talk and questions. 
 
There is also the opportunity, for those who wish, to pay homage to the triple gem and receive the 5 precepts from Ajahn.

Monday 19th November- Talk by Lama Lobsang Darjy
 
We will be having a greatly respected Tibetan Lama to come and give a talk on the 19th. The topic will be loosely surrounding an introduction into Tibetan Buddhism. However, Lama Lobsang much prefers to engage in a conversation and therefore is open to take his talk/discussion wherever we wish. This talk is a very exciting event and I shall be updating you with more information about Lama Lobsang in the next few days so that I can say more.
 
Lama Lobsang follows the Gelugpa tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
 
This talk will start at 6:30pm and again be in room 2B.
 
Due to the nature of this talk we may ask for people to reserve places to see if we will need a larger room.
I will let you know more in a few days.
