[ULUBUDA] Talk This Wednesday on the 'Vajrayana/Tantra'

Dear all,

I hope that you have had a good weekend. ULUBUDA is pleased to invite Donald Brown back from Sakya Dechen Ling Tibetan Buddhist centre to talk to us about the 'Vajrayana'. Donald has been a practising Buddhist, under the guidance of Lama Jampa Thaye, for over twelve years. He is one of Sakya Dechen Ling’s experienced team of instructors.

 There are a lot of misconceptions about the Vajrayana in the West, stemming back to the 60s and 70s hippy generation. For those who have heard of the Vajrayana or Tantra and wish to know the reality of the teaching of this school of Buddhism then come along this Wednesday to ULU and find out.

Also, on Saturday we will be having a trip to Amaravati Buddhist Monestary. During the day there will be
- Meditation
-Food
- A TALK BY AJAHN SUMEDHO!!

The exact details of the event I will post in another email. We shall start at 9am at Imperial College and look to be back at ULU for about 5pm.

Lastly, Just a short mention to a night hosted by STUDENTS FOR A FREE TIBET at the Junior Common Room at SOAS.

There will be a cake sale, live music and short documentaries.
