[ULUBUDA] Four Requisites Charity Program- more info

Hey everyone,
 
I hope you have all had a good week!
 
I am just sending this email to let you know about some changes to the Charity clothes giving this weekend.
I have noticed that for a lot of people it is easier to give the old clothes to a local charity shop
rather than coming together to a charity shop which is much further away from them. I understand these
concerns and perhaps we can restructure this event and make it more individual.
 
What I suggest is that if you wish to take part, you can individually go to donate some old clothes to the local
charity shop. This makes it easier for people in terms of travel especially at the weekend.
 
However, I hope we don't lose the spirit of unity by not meeting up to do this so if anybody wishes they can send
in some words on the whole idea of Buddhism involved in society, or engaged Buddhism. Good and bad things!
If you wish to write about the clothes donation specifically in terms of Buddhist ethics then that is also great. Just 
send in your experiences and we should be able to put some on the website to allow others to gain insight to your
thoughts etc. 
 
Please send anything you want to contribute to the website to my address or the main ULUBUDA email address.

Also, if you wish please bring a cushion for the meditation as I know the floor is really hard! I am looking round one pound
shops at the moments to look for the cheapest cushions. If you wish let us know the price of cushions in your areas!
